Offered for sale is this wonderful and funky well executed colored etching by Canadian artist Christine Reimer. This nicely detailed etching is signed in pencil by the artist and dated '77. Titled "Figure it Out" this version is labeled in the left hand corner "State Proof #5 Etching".
Christine Reimer was born in Duncan, B.C. in 1954. Reimer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts), University of Victoria, 1977
Diploma in Education (Secondary Art), University of Victoria, 1979
Victoria College of Art, 1981 and has exhibited her fine works in many venues in Canada and the United States.
This early etching is a great mid century gem and would make a welcomed addition to any collection.
Measurements including the frame are 17.25 inches in height x 23.25 inches in width.
