Framed mid century watercolour on paper signed by Canadian listed artist, Burrell Swartz (1925 - 2004) and titled "Sunflower".
Nicely executed this is a wonderful early watercolor on paper signed by the Canadian listed artist Burrell Swartz and titled "Sunflower" is in fantastic condition.
Burrell Swartz was born January 1925 in Vancouver, British Columbia, of Jewish (Russian/Hungarian) immigrant parents.
In 1944-45 he attended the Vancouver School of Art. By 1946 he had moved to the University of Toronto from which he received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1951.
This wonderful moody watercolor would make a wonderful addition and compliment to any wall.
Measurements are 19.75 inches in height x 16.5 inches in width.
Unframed measurements are 11.25 inches in height x 8.5 inches in width.
