Perfect summer vehicle, no better feeling than having the roof off in the summer heat. Definitely an old vehicle that has some quirks and issues and basically is not suited for winter anymore.
Downsides:
- Stereo system is busted but could just be an electrical issue (cables)
- Cracked windshield
- Leaf springs not in great shape (4x4)
- Gear box/clutch can be sticky
- No power steering
Upside;
- New soft top. Second hand but in great condition.
- New soft top hardware
- New brake pads
- New exhaust system (10K)
- New seal below windshield
- Ultimate summer vehicle
Still has some life left in it but could last a lot longer if you have the time, energy and love to put into it. Absolutely love this car and it breaks my heart to sell it but no longer have anywhere dry to store it and it isn't being driven.
