Horse Board Available-Glen Oaks Stables in Telegraph Cove, British Columbia for sale

Glen Oaks Stables has one stall available immediately. We offer full board at a cost of $585 per month.
We are located on West Burnside Road, behind Victoria General Hospital. We are approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Victoria and it is a short walk to the stable from the bus stop.
Unlike many stables, we are an advocate of open spaces for your horse to live and play. This kind of freedom is very important to keep your horse mentally and physically healthy. We offer group turn out on 4 acres of property. Horses can wonder around or just hang out with the herd. Horses are turned out at 8:30 am and have access to hay all day (fed with slow feeder hay nets) and brought in around 4:30 pm each day. In the summer/early fall, the horses are turned out on grass pasture and live outside 23 hours a day.
The stalls have ¾" rubber mats and a generous amount of sawdust shavings. We feed local hay from Central Saanich and Metchosin and 14% Top Shelf Horse Pellets. If you want your horse to receive anything else, I can buy same and add it to your board (i.e. alfalfa cubes, Dr. Reed's Minerals & Vitamins, flax etc).
Glen Oaks Stables is a lovely private barn where you and your horse can relax, feel safe and be happy. We have an all-weather hog fuel outdoor ring with lights so you can ride at night and an enclosed sand round pen. We are fairly close to the trails behind Francis King Park and Thetis Lake Park.
I currently have working students who are wanting to part lease a horse at a price of $200 per month, if that would work for you. They would ride two times a week and one of those days they would have a lesson with me.
