Designed by the inventor of inline skates, this nearly immaculate, almost unused (around 10 km) - Rowbike is a rare find. Quite probably the lowest mileage, least used example for sale anywhere, and the only one in Victoria as far as I know. I think that this particular model, the 726 King, is superior to the 720 Crew, the only model currently available, in that the wheel size is 26" rear and 24" front, whereas the 720 Crew has 20" wheels front and rear. The 720 Crew sells for $2495 USD which, after conversion to Canadian dollars, adding $200 shipping and 12% tax comes to $3985 (calculated on Aug 31st).
The sliding seat on this bike matches the action of rowing a sliding seat scull almost exactly.
This is better exercise than conventional cycling in a few ways: it engages more muscles of the body, particularly the abdominals, upper body, arms and back and burns more calories per hour in the process. You can also see better where you are going!
Tires are Schwalbe Marathon with Kevlar plies and are 1.5" wide. These wheels and tires are good for the Galloping Goose
The bike looks like new, as you can see. The seat is perfect.
