Hey potentially future roommate!
We have a beautiful room opening up for 637$ (+ utilities). We are a collective of creative, active, funny, clean and compassionate people seeking someone to sublet the brightest room of our house for the summer (with the slight possibility to extend the sublet).
We are located in the Gordon Head area, a short walk away from Mount Douglas and Cordova Bay (as pictured above). We are situated close to the 27/28 bus stops, which are straight shots downtown. You have easy access to Mount Douglas and numerous beaches alongside multiple grocery stores (Thrifty's, Save-on, Fairway and Mt Doug Market - the Root Cellar is a short 20 mins bike ride).
You would be living with 4 to 6 other rad people (some of us are working away at the moment) but fear not - we are all really good at respecting one another's need for space and communicating our boundaries. We are a mix of students and young professionals with a broad range of interest. Some of us play music (banjo, violin, piano), some of us dance (5 rythms, tap and swing dance especially), some of us paint (watercolour, acrylics, body art) or like to hike, camp, jog and play soccer. We're all yogis and foodies with an ecological mindset: we're currently working on a backyard garden, so if you have a green thumb, you'd be most welcome to join.
Since our move in, we have turned this house into a home filling our spacious, calming and grounding living room with music, laughter, and conversation. It's a jaw dropping room and a keystone to the house. We constantly cultivate our relationships between each other and spend a lot of time in the kitchen making food.
Note: your bedroom is besides the kitchen, so best suited for a sturdy sleeper.
It's available anytime to move in anytime from today until July 1st.
