Technics SA-210 Receiver
Vintage 1983/1984
VG++ condition
"The Technics SA-210 combines new class-A amplification with quartz synthesizer tuning and has created tremendous excitement among reviewers and customers alike."
Audiophile snobs usually stick their noses up when they see an amplifier with slider controls. However, that is their loss, because this is a great sounding amplifier with a straight analogue design, Baxandall bass and treble, and Sanyo thick-film hybrid technology for the power amplifier. The SVIK4141-2M (STK4141) manufactured by the Sanyo Corporation is a thick-film hybrid IC 2-channel power amplifier that provides great sound. This IC is getting rare, and was one of the nicest sounding, making this vintage amplifier very valuable. It also has a very nice sounding phono RIAA preamplifier based on the SVINJ4559DDM dual operational amplifier IC.
