I am the second owner and she's been with me for a little over one year. Despite good intentions to ride her often, I cannot at this stage justify license and insuring a second 1200cc motorcycle. I need to pass her on to a new home.
The bike is truly immaculate and looks spectacular in all black. The previous owner had the original decals removed as he felt these detracted from the overall appearance.
The following accessories/parts are part of the sale:
1. Vance & Hines exhaust can - very civilized with the baffles in place. The original is provided
2. Illmburger RR tyre-hugger in carbon-fiber. Not fitted at present due to the slightly wider than stock RR tyre.
3. BMW Navigator cradle to suit models IV, V and VI.
4. LED clear RR lamp cluster (the original red unit supplied)
5. LED indicator bulbs
6. Sargent heated seat - either a passenger seat can be or a rigid tail-section with storage.
7. Medium and large genuine BMW Motorrad tank bags.
The previous owner added carbon-fiber accents and frame sliders plus several other accessories than I can describe upon request.
The bike specification includes ABS, heated grips, electronically adjustable suspension and tire-pressure monitors.
I last insured her in through to October last year. Since then, after using fuel stabilizer, she's been parked under a cover inside my garage, with the battery maintained by a BMW battery tender.
The previous owner claimed the bike had been in the rain only once since new, and that can be confirmed by the cleanliness of the motor and chassis.
This is a fast and exceptionally stable machine, featuring Duolever and Paralever suspension. She can best be described as a 'Gentleman's Sport Bike' as the riding position is not overly cramped or uncomfortable.
