The unique body of the V6 2200 Pro begins with thinner ultra-high density foam segments covering Vaughn's revolutionary carbon fiber protective plates, ultimately reducing the weight and puck impacts. Internally, the core of the body features a Kevlar aramid ballistic weave material layered and sewn to reduce impact penetration. Additional layers of both high density (HD) and low density (LD) foams are added behind the carbon fiber reinforcement to add impact resistance. A large sternum plate compliments the chest by offering an added source of carbon fiber reinforced protection while the shoulder floaters are specifically designed to meet the needs of both hybrid and butterfly style goaltenders. Four main segments allow the floater to conform to the body while the wide profile offers maximum coverage in net. The shoulder floaters are constructed of ultra-high density foam and are complimented by removable air pillows and enlarged shoulder caps. Rib protection is optimized through the construction of removable flaps and full double-wrap side design.
