WANTED: Possible Roommate in Telegraph Cove, British Columbia

Hello!
We are a family of three (me, my husband and our 12 year old son) long-time residents of Victoria, and we are on the hunt for a new place to live as of August 1, 2019. As we look for suitable 2-bedroom places, we've decided to be open-minded and see if there's a possibility of finding a roommate for a 3-bedroom (or larger!) house, ideally with a bit of a yard.
About us: I (Michelle) have worked at the University of Victoria for the past 9 years, and Charles just made the transition to a job at the Ministry of Finance after 10 years working for Coast Capital Savings. Our son (Nodin) is 12 and attends Lansdowne Middle School. His primary interests are music, art, biking, YouTube and computer games (very typical pre-teen stuff). We like to get out on weekends and explore beaches and parks, go on road trips, make delicious meals, and spend time with family. Charles is super into Anime, and I am into cooking, painting, ukulele and reading. We keep up with what's going on in the world and in our city, and we are liberal-minded and as culturally aware as we can be.
During the week we're home most evenings, generally chilling and taking it easy. We're out of the house weekdays between about 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We don't have any pets, and though we love four-legged friends, I am allergic to cats. :( We don't smoke cigarettes but are 420-friendly (but not our son, obviously). We have one car that I'm fairly generous about lending out to trusted friends for grocery runs or VarageSale pickups.
Ideally we would like to find someone youngish (we are in our 30s) or an independent, mature working person who is open to sharing a living space with a small but functioning family. We're open to pretty much anywhere but Sooke; if we end up in Langford we prefer it to be central to the Goldstream/ Peatt Rd. area as it's easier to bus into town from there and we have friends in that neighbourhood already.
